The Wire

I'm totally addicted. I'm still watching Season One (don't own a TV.)

This is really good stuff, and those that know me know that I don't particularly care for TV (not having owned one for about 20 years at this point.)

I've tossed all the seasons onto my Netflix queue. (More when I resurface.)

So if you don't own a TV, do you watch DVDs on a computer?

Unrelated: note that Blogger screws up HTML titles when you put markup in post names.

Yeah, watch them on my desktop with the big monitor.

And no, I don't see any screwup. What browser do you use?

The HTML tags for the italics show up in the window manager title bar. I just tested using IE and Firefox (on Vista) and they both exhibit the same behavior. Not that that is such a big deal, but unintended nonetheless.

When I was back in Chicago and had a 17 inch Mac PowerBook from the CS department, I sometimes watched movies on it. Not as good as a TV, but serviceable.

I just finished the first season, and we are on the second. Very impressed.
